Walton le Dale JFC – Our Aim
We want to give local children a fun way to stay fit and healthy. We strive to improve all of our players football skills through fun, well organised practice sessions and games. Our club is also a great place to make friends. Being part of Walton le Dale JFC is a big part of our players young lives. It gives a child a place to focus all of the energy they have as youngsters and a place to learn discipline and team work.
We aim to provide a community spirit in offering the children and parents of Walton le Dale and surrounding areas of Preston junior football opportunities. Walton le Dale JFC is not just about learning and playing football though. Throughout the year we have various activities both social and sporting which make the club an exciting place all year round.
Walton le Dale JFC – The Future
Walton le Dale recreation ground has traditionally been the home of Walton le Dale JFC since it’s inception. In summer 2012 work began to build a new community centre and changing rooms for all the local clubs. Cricket, bowling and football are now all housed in the new community centre at the recreation ground. In summer 2013, work began on construction of a new junior football pitch for Walton le Dale. This was completed for the start of the 2013/14 season as a dedicated 9v9 pitch. It is a legacy for junior football in Walton le Dale as it is the first time the area will have a dedicated football pitch for junior football. The future is very exciting for all involved with Walton le Dale JFC.
